Welcome. Here at Cooldog Publications our aim is a simple one - to encourage and publish the very best in new writing. Whether you are a writer or a reader of quality new work, this site is dedicated to you.
Cooldog Publications is an independent publisher launched in 2008. We provide a shop window for developing writers from across the world to help them to get their work into print.
We publish the Cooldog E-Mag – our on-line magazine filled with high quality short stories and poetry by developing writers – see our Sample Stories for some examples of what you can expect. We also host the annual Cooldog Prize writing contest, which offers substantial cash prizes as well as publication in our anthology.
For writers, we are looking for good, original short stories and poetry. We run regular short story and poetry competitions for entry into our E-Mag – and award cash prizes for the top three entries in each category. Take a look at our Writing Competitions for details.
